Classified Ads Secrets

Posting
your ad to classifieds will not get your ad or your site
noticed...no matter what the owners of such sites say. I am the
owner of such a site, and I am here to tell you that your ad
won't be noticed!
The people that visit the classified sites are there for one of
two reasons: 1) To post their ad or link, and/or 2) To harvest
the e-mail addresses of those who do post ads and links.
Nobody is there to read your ad.
Now you are asking yourself why you would bother to post to such
sites.
For one very good reason....for the people who are there to
harvest e-mail addresses... they are going to spam you!
Yes, you will get spammed...a lot...after posting a classified
ad. Count on it, and use it to your advantage.
The trick is to use your autoresponders address when posting to
these sites. Then, when these e-mail harvesters go to the sites
you posted to, they will harvest your autoresponders address
along with the rest of the e-mail addresses that have been
entered on that site.
Here is the good part. After harvesting your autoresponders
e-mail address, they are going to send out bulk, unsolicited
e-mail. In return, your autoresponder is going to send them your
message. This means that by posting one classified ad, your
message will get sent to about 50 or more people...the people
who are harvesting the addresses.
It gets even better. After their bulk e-mail software lets them
know that your autoresponders e-mail address works, most of
these harvesters will then sell your autoresponders e-mail
address to other bulk e-mailers, who in turn sell it to others,
and so on and so forth...as long as your autoresponder keeps
responding, it keeps getting resold as a "live address".
This means that by placing that one ad, over a period of time,
your message will be delivered to thousands of people.
And that ladies and gentlemen is how you can take advantage of
the classified ads. This does work, this does produce results.
Another effective way to use classified ad sites, is to offer
your own classified ads. This will bring visitors to your site,
to post ads, or to harvest e-mail addresses. When advertising
your classified ad site however, make sure that the URL you use
is to your main web page, then place a link to your classifieds
on that page.
